Versões alternativas, maquetas e gravações ao vivo: os Pink Floyd estão a celebrar meio século de “Wish You Were Here” em grande
Os Pink Floyd irão lançar uma reedição de “Wish You Were Here”, um dos seus álbuns mais celebrados, por ocasião do 50º aniversário do disco.
Esta reedição foi anunciada esta sexta-feira, 12 de setembro, dia em que “Wish You Were Here” completou exatamente meio século de vida. O lançamento está marcado para o dia 12 de dezembro, em formato digital, 3LP, 2CD e blu-ray.
Esta reedição conterá várias gravações inéditas, entre versões alternativas das canções do álbum, maquetas e registos da banda ao vivo. Em antecipação, os Pink Floyd partilharam uma maqueta nunca antes lançada de ‘Welcome to the Machine’, originalmente intitulada ‘The Machine Song’.
Na edição em blu-ray, os fãs terão ainda a oportunidade de ver três filmes da digressão que a banda realizou em 1975, bem como uma curta de Storm Thorgerson, co-autor da capa do álbum.
